AI tools in design

Timeline: 2025 - 2026

Product designer

In recent years, with the rise of generative AI tools, I have become genuinely curious about the new possibilities these technologies can offer. At first, I found the concept somewhat obscure and too theoretical for practical application in my work. However, as new tools continued to emerge, I decided to give them a try. Starting in 2025, I began incorporating AI in various forms into my design process.

Key activities

FigmaMake & Figjam AI

  • As part of my work at ÄŒSOB, I tested these AI-embedded features within my design projects.

  • Upon my realization, this tool fits perfectly for the initial phases of the design process for ideation boosting, brainstorming inspirations, quick sketches, and wireframe versioning.

  • Regarding Figjam AI, I really appreciated its help with idea categorization, or affiliate mapping in various workshop sessions.

Microsoft Copilot

  • I started working with Copilot in 2025 also as part of my design jobs with ÄŒSOB.

  • This work included exept others collecting customer feedback & analysing user data, synthetizing insights  and measuring their impact. This was the area where I found useful to involve Copilot too.

  • I prepared a set of prompting instructions used on the processed excel reporting to extract detailed insights & recurring patterns.

Claude by Anthropic

  • Upon my recent experience with other AI tools, I feel very motivated to explore Claude features.

  • At first, I used classical prompting tasks to figure out to validate my ideation & early design decisions.

  • Also, it showed a significant usefullness in terms of design speed-up in wireframing & design system improvements.

  • However, after a while I felt I needed to level my Clause experience up to maximalize its benefits for my work. I jumped on the process of skills creation &  requirements customization.

Fleck & other AI agents

  • In addition to everything else, I aimed to continuously improve my AI skills and gain diverse experiences with AI.

  • I embarked on this collaborative journey with AI agents to enhance my design process in several areas, including early scenario reviews, validation of mental models, enhancement of customer cases, initial design evaluations, creation of visuals and stock materials, suggestions for UX copy, localization, accessibility checks, heuristic evaluations, and the handover process to developers.
